Ajax Budokan Annual Tournament

Tora Judo club attended the annual Ajax Budokan Tournament in Whitby last weekend.

The club brought home 5 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze with a total of 7 medals in total.

The girls ruled the day bringing home 4 gold medals, leading off Deanna Barnes fought in the U18 and Senior divisions -63kg category, placing first in both divisions.

Alexandra and Chloe Flores also both placed first in their respective divisions.

Ryan Conklin-Bric also fought in two divisions U18 and U21-55kg, he placed first in the U21 and second in the U18 losing out on the tie breaker.

Trenton Achico placed third, Andrew Rangoo placed fourth and Emil Bosquet placed fifth in their respective divisions.
